I wrote more Cadeyrn and renamed it from The Chronicles of Cadeyrn to The Life of Cadeyrn, because Chronicles is too damn overdone and this book series really is a fiction biography. You'd know that if you read my master storyline text file.

Other than that, not much new stuff besides Christmas presents and nerdy computer stuff.

A new journal...

Yeah, a new journal. You'll notice I removed all my poems from dA; we all know I can't write poetry. I've known for like a year now. So I've taken the embarrassment off the internet (or as I've been calling it recently, the netwebs).

I haven't worked on Cadeyrn since summer ended, which is normal.

I've mostly been just hanging out at school. Sophomore year is way better than last year. I have all the cool teachers, none of the bad ones, and all my classes are without the wannabe gangsters with single-digit IQ's, drug addictions, and a whole lot of testosterone. My 3rd period is completely free in the band room, so I basically play guitar or mooch off my teacher's coffee or play video games with a friend. So, with all of this unfamiliar ease, I think for once I may be able to get started on my first school year of artistry. I feel pretty lazy just hanging out and mooching off other people's music, books, games, and other creations instead of what I usually do, making my own.

Did I mention I'm finally able to start a serious metal band? We got a lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, me on bass, a drummer, and the best part is they're all really good friends of mine. We're deciding who'll sing pretty soon, as well, but judging by the voices of all of us, it'll probably end up being the rhythm guitarist or me. Oh, I also need to start writing songs!

Featured From A Contest Donation (Still a favorite, I'm no selllout;)): Unlucky Me is an awesome poem about a different side to a song. See, the prompt was to write something about a chosen song, and this guy wrote the other side of the song's conflict.
1. Peace and Quiet has the best character development ever!
2. Dear Diary has a good reason to be the most popular humorous piece of literature on all of dA.
3. The Life of Jiriko is part one of a very long, and yet unfinished, story featuring plenty of heartbreak and hope.
4. Terrer's Asylum is a very interesting, suspenseful story; only two parts are out so far. No, Terrer is not misspelled--it's the name of the main character.
5. Dreaming of Another Day is a multiple-part finished novel of *Shinigami-Shimai's heartbreaking life up until a certain recent point.

"I'll kill any idiot who does this to a girl!

From ~Jannette92's journal:

Guy: "Can we have sex now?"

Girl: "Can we do what?"

Guy: "You know, can I be your first, finally?"

Girl: "Um.....no."

Guy: "Why?"

Girl: "Because you have a girlfriend, who happens to be my friend......."

Guy: "So, if you don't tell, I won't tell."

Girl: "Besides that, I'm waiting for someone special. Someone that I want to be with for the rest of my life to be my first."

Guy: "I'm not special to you?"

Girl: "You're my friend. That's all."

Guy: looks forward and keeps driving.

5 minutes pass.......

Guy: starts to run his hand up the girl's thigh.

Girl: moves his hand, "Don't touch me.".

Guy: tries to kiss her.

Girl: screams, "Would you stop!"

Guy: continues trying.

Girl: moves to the back seat

Guy: parks on an abandoned street and gets in the backseat with the girl. Starts to kiss her.

Girl: pushes him off and scoots over, "Please, don't do this."

Guy: "Don't do what? I know you want it, I can see it in your eyes." Moves over to her and starts to unbutton her pants.

Girl: pushes him harder and says, "No, don't."

Guy: getting aggravated, punches her and tells her to stop "playing hard to get".

Girl: crying, continues to fight.

Guy: punches her harder, pulls her pants off, and holds her down.

Girl: screams as he penetrates her, "NO, please don't do this to me!"

Guy: puts his hand over her mouth.

An hour passes.........

Guy: pulls back and wipes himself off.

Girl: sits on the corner of the seat, crying.

Guy: looks at her and says, "You better not tell anybody about this. If you're really my friend, you won't tell anybody about this. You know I love you." He reaches out his hand to touch her cheek.

Girl: pulls back, "Just take me home, now."

Guy: says, "Alright." Gets in the front seat and drives her home.

2 months later.........

Girl: "Doctor, what's wrong with me? I haven't had my time of the month in 2 months."

Doctor: looks at her, "You haven't been having your "time" for a reason."

Girl: looks at him and says, "Why?" dreading the answer that she was sure to receive.

Doctor: "You are pregnant."

Girl: faints.

The story gets out that she is pregnant, and people start looking to the Guy. He claims that it isn't his because she was sleeping with every guy in the school(which was a lie). He goes to her and tells her, "I'm telling you, if you lie to people and say that I raped you, I'll kill you."

The Girl is completely devastated. First, he took her virginity and got her pregnant....then he lied about it. So completely depressed......the girl commits suicide by drug overdose.......

Girls, if this story touched you, put this in your journal as "No means no!"

Guys, if this story pisses you off, put in your journal as 'I'll kill any idiot who does this to my girl, or any girl"

Why?

What I don't get here is, almost nobody knows about my stuff or reads it. After so much time of meeting people on here and comparing works with them, I've spent 23 months on dA, totally undiscovered.

Everyone who reads my stuff says they love it, and that it could go far, in dA and in real life. So why isn't it? I honestly don't know...

What got me was this:
"Leo-Garth has 2,182 pageviews total and his 47 deviations were viewed 2,069 times. He watches 20 people, while 11 people watch him.

Overall, his deviations received 93 comments and were added to deviants' favourites 13 times, while he commented 340 times, making about 0.63 comments per day since he joined DA. This means that he gave 37 comments for every 10 that he received.

His deviation with the most comments is A Choice for Life or Death with 14 comments, while his most favourited one is Oscar Wilde Magic Card, with 3 favourites. His most viewed deviation is deviantDESKTOP 6-14-08 with 300 views."

These statistics shock me because they seem like a lot, but somehow the actual amount of comments and faves I get don't match the feeling that quote gives.

The new friends I've made on this site was really great, but my ultimate goal here was always to get discovered.

On a side note, I recently realized something. I used to be a hater of Twilight, but then a friend who is a girl showed me a little excerpt of her copy. I still can't say I like the story, or the characters, but Stephanie Meyer's writing style is insanely awesome.

I have some good news, in two parts:

1. Cadeyrn, Chapters 1 AND 2 have been updated/changed. Check it out! And that means that my hiatus from Cadeyrn is over which implies that
2. I've planned almost all of the storylines of my other book(s) (serieses).

'Nuff said.

Oh, wait! Happy New Year! Shouting from the west coast at 3:30 AM, finishing up another all-nighter writing session.:)
